Alex Fontenot graduated from ULL in 2014 where she received a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. She then attended graduate school at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Alex has practiced physical therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting for 6 years, treating a wide variety of patients with orthopedic conditions as well as 1.5 years experience in the acute care setting. She joined the ISR team in 2018. She has obtained certifications including dry needling and performance specialist with postgraduate education focusing on shoulder and pelvis rehabilitation.
Alex was raised in New Iberia, LA and now resides in Lafayette with her husband, Brandon. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and exercising.
